This pre-release only includes the fixed Windows package which was previously missing in pre-release v3.0.0-rc.1. Please refer to that pre-release for the release notes and the instructions for joining testnet.

This pre-release does not include a stable Windows package. This can be found in pre-release v3.0.0-rc.1+windows.

In order to join the testnet using the Docker image, please refer to the instructions below.

How to join the testnet using Docker

As this is a pre-release, the corresponding Docker image is available as aeternity/aeternity:v3.0.0-rc.1 (not aeternity/aeternity:latest, not aeternity/aeternity).

The minimal configuration to join the testnet needs a list of seed peers, network identifier and block reward beneficiary (with number of shares):

So, assuming your configuration file is located at ~/.aeternity/myaeternity.yaml on the host machine, you can join the testnet running:

docker run -p 3013:3013 -p 3015:3015 -v ~/.aeternity/myaeternity.yaml:/home/aeternity/.aeternity/aeternity/aeternity.yaml aeternity/aeternity:v3.0.0-rc.1
