Summary of changes since 20190722 release:

• Fixed EQ settings not being initialized.
• Fixed buffer overflow vulnerabilities in MTM and OKT module loaders.

Summary of changes since 20190614 release:

• Fixed volume ramping and equalizer settings getting screwed up whenever new song structs were allocated internally.
• Fixed Gxx notes rerolling volume and panning swing.
• Alt-Shift-D on the instrument screen deletes the selected instrument, but only deletes samples only used by that instrument.
• Message page uses consistent (and platform-appropriate) newlines for loading and clipboard.
• Message page selection is reset when loading a new module.
• Fixed graphical bug on instrument page when changing "tabs" using the mouse.

Summary of changes since 20181223 release:

• SDL dylib is included in the macOS application bundle, which should fix SDL linking issues experienced by macOS users.
• No changes to Windows or Linux versions.

Summary of changes since 20180810 release:

• Fix volume of AdLib instruments; they were too loud relative to actual Sound Blaster cards (and DOSBox). Sample mixing volume is adjusted to match when loading S3Ms made in an older version of Schism.
• Build for macOS 10.11 instead of 10.13.
• Add stable source tarball to release.
• Add render action to Linux desktop entry.

• The center row on the info page was changed to match Impulse Tracker.
• Minor IT and XM file format errors were fixed.

Summary of changes since 20160521 release:

• Windows resolution bugs/quirks were fixed.
• New keys Shift-A and Shift-F (jump to previous/next value in channel column) were added to the pattern editor.
• Undocumented Impulse Tracker keys Ctrl-Ins and Ctrl-Del (roll block) were added to the pattern editor.
• A config file option to disable OpenGL linear filtering was added.
• New global key Ctrl+Shift+Q (quit without confirmation) was added.
• Small UI improvements/fixes were made.
• The MTM file loader was fixed and improved.
• The MDL file loader was improved.
• Small code changes were made to enable building on BSD platforms.

Most of the previously available releases of Schism took place in 2012. A summary of what's changed since then:

• A bunch of IT playback cases were fixed.
• AdLib emulation was improved.
• The MIDI clock now works in a reasonable manner.
• Some Windows-specific issues were fixed.
• Some undocumented key commands were added to F1 help text.

Currently, there's no OSX build available since none of us is an OSX developer. If you are an OSX developer and would like to contribute a build, please open an issue for it and we'll be forever grateful.
