Xbox-ATG-Samples - November 2017 (VS 2017 15.4 update)

This release is the same as the previous November 2017 release except that the UWP samples have been updated to use the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update SDK (16299). Use of VS 2017 (15.4 update) is recommended for the UWP samples.

SimpleMSAA_UWP was also updated to require the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (16299) so that a workaround could be removed. See the readme in that sample for more details.

  • Added SimpleHDR_UWP and SimpleHDR_UWP12 graphics samples
  • Added SimplePlay3DSoundXDK, SimpleWASAPICaptureXDK, and SimpleWASAPIPlaySoundXDK audio samples to replace older XSF-based legacy samples
  • SimplePBR12 now supports HDR output on 4K UHD displays
  • UWP samples updated for UWP on Xbox One (October 2017)

Note that the UWP samples in this release still use the Windows 10 Creators Update SDK (15063). The next release will use Windows 10 Fall Creators Update SDK (16299).
