IMPROVEMENTS

• We know there were people who liked playing songs at high volume. We don't want you to harm your ears, so we limited the maximum volume at 200%.

KILLED THESE BUGS

• When you gambled in slots, it actually wasn't charging you or awarding you when you won! It has been fixed now.

NEW STUFF

• You can now use the resetProfile command to reset any user's profile, provided that you've Manage Server permissions.
• If your server has a huge amount of users, sometimes you might have noticed that a few features (like level up roles) doesn't seem to work for a few users. That's become some user's are not in Bastion's cache. So, to get around that, the cacheMembers command was added. It can be used by server managers for caching all the members of the server.
• You can now gamble on slots machine. Use the new betSlots command to satisfy your gambling needs!
• Slow mode is back! You can now use the new setRateLimit command to set an interval for sending messages in a channel. Members in the channel can send only one message in this interval.

IMPROVEMENTS

• The google command will now show more accurate search results.
• You will now be able to see the correct answer to the jumbed word, after the game is over. No more wondering what the correct answer was!
• The profile command has been tweaked a bit. Try it to find out.
• Bastion will now show warning messages if a message is filtered because of forbidden words. No more silently deleting the messages.
• And if a message gets filtered because of a blocked word, it'll log the block word that triggered the filter.
• The clear command now accepts an user option which can be used to pass user IDs. It's useful when you want to clear messages from someone who has left the server, because you can't mention them anymore.

KILLED THESE BUGS

• Fixed the levelUpRoles command showing the Level null for some roles that weren't assigned any level.
• The poll command can now run for exactly 24 hours! For people who hadn't noticed, it only allowed you to run for 23 hours and 59 minutes.
• Fixed the google command not showing any search results.
• Some under-the-hood fixes, as usual.

NEW STUFF!!

• Added invite command. Guess what it must be doing!
• Added listBans command which can be used to list out all the banned users of the server with the reason for their ban.
• Added support for kicking all members from a voice channel using the same old moveMembers command. See the help message, using help moveMembers command, for details.
• Verified server owners! You can now create news & store channels using the createChannel command.
• You can now set channel topic and whether the channel is NSFW or not, while you're creating a channel, using the createChannel command.
• The way you use createChannel has slightly been changed. See the help message, using help createChannel command for details.

• From now on, server managers - and not just the server owner, can give out experience points to the members of the server.
• The volume command now has an alias! Use the shorter new vol command to change volume.

NEW STUFF

• Some people weren't able to find the default prefix for Bastion. So we added a prefix command for DMs (that doesn't require any prefix) that can be used to get the default prefixes of Bastion. It'll also be useful in case you forgot your server prefix and don't know the default prefix.
• Added the karmaBoard command to see a leaderboard of user karma in the server.

• The Server Configuration module grew so much that it crossed Discord's message limit and apparently broke the commands list. So, we broke the Server Configuration module and introduced the Filters module - a kick off of all filtering commands from Server Configuration module.
• Fixed an issue with the reputation command that gave karma to yourself!

NEW STUFF!

• You can now set roles as exclusive roles using the exclusiveRoles command. If level-up-roles are set and at least one role is exclusive in a given level, when user level ups to that level, they will get all roles in that level and all roles that they got from previous levels will be removed from them.
• Apex Legends has been on the news for a few weeks now. So we decided to add stats for it too! You can now see your stats from Apex Legends using the apexLegends command.
• Some new easter eggs have been added! Try and find it out if you can!

IMPROVEMENTS & CHANGES

• Users with Manage Server perms won't be ignored in ignored channels or even if they have roles that are being ignored by Bastion.
• Bastion will now consider image only starred messages for starboard.
• Some under-the-hood improvements, as always!

• Killed a bug that posted the announcement messages, announced through announcement reactions, in the current channel instead of the announcement channel.
• Killed another bug that prevented the addWhitelistDomains from working.
• There was another bug that prevented the stats command from working if an invalid owner ID was set in the credentials. Killed that too!
• Some under-the-hood fixes too!

KILLED THESE BUGS

• The sendSpoiler command had a major security issue, that came with the last release! Thanks to one of our mods who reported it as soon as the release went out and it was disabled to prevent any damage. That's been fixed now! Thank goodness!
• There was a bug that prevented you from disabling non bot owner commands. Killed that nasty bug!
• Killed another bug that prevented addRole and removeRole commands from working.

NEW STUFF

• messageChannel can now be used by server managers to send any message to any channel in their server.
• Added messageMember command, which can be used by server managers to send any message to any member in their server.
• Added resetProfile command, which can be used to delete your Bastion profile in case you want to start over. Server managers can use it to reset everyone's Bastion profiles.

OLD STUFF, BUT BUFFED!

• The lyrics command will now automatically search the lyrics for the currently playing song if no song name is provided to it.
• 12 hours giveaways weren't enough for you? You can now run giveaway for a maximum of 24 hours!
• Made some under-the-hood improvements too!

• Fixed an issue that prevented the rank command from working!
• sendSpoiler will now auto delete the invoking message containing the spoiler so the other users don't get spoiled!

THROWN OUT SOME ANCIENT STUFF

• Removed the messageUser command, because bot owners don't need to send message to random users!
• Removed the resetDatabase command, because resetProfile is a thing now.

• Fixed rank command not showing the correct rank.
• The giveXP command will now show the amount of XP awarded instead of the total XP with the user.

• Bastion's autoplay will now play daily hits instead of weekly hits. Daily music listeners won't get bored of the same songs anymore.
• AFK messages will be shown even if a user's status is set to Online or DND.
• Added some new variable support for greet & farewell messages.

• Fixed showSpoiler command not decoding the spoilers for you!
• Fixed an issue with auto-assignable roles being assigned at a delay if greet timeout was set.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the default greet & farewell messages from being shown. Bastion wanted to have a custom message for those. But not anymore!
• Fixed an issue that prevented your profile from being shown if you had more XP than Bastion expected from you. Won't happen anymore.
• Fixed an issue that displayed the text only greet & farewell messages outside the embed.
• Fixed an issue that caused the music queue to show wrong page count in some cases.

Well, yeah.
Don't worry. I didn't forgot.
And neither is the changelog empty!
On the contrary, it is very huge!
So huge that it was impossible to fit within Discord's 2000 character message limit!
Now, you must be understanding how big this release is. Did I mention this earlier, though? 🤔

So... Where is it then?

I won't keep you waiting any longer.
It was so huge that I had to create a blog for Bastion and post it in a blog post!
