This release is a huge step in Pipeline's life implementing tons of new features.
Probably the most interesting feature is our brand new Spotguide framework which lets you use your favorite development framework while automating the rest allowing you to focus on what's most important: your software.
We also expanded our cloud provider support by adding Alibaba and Oracle Cloud Kubernetes offerings to Pipeline and replaced our EC2 based Kubernetes distribution with Amazon EKS.
Other features:
Besides the new features this release also contains stability improvements.

In the 0.2.0 release the components of Pipeline have been re-worked to streamline easily incorporations of new cloud providers and provide same level of automation and easier enablement of new cloud providers.
This release - 0.3.0 is adding support for Google's Managed Kubernetes GKE support and also moving away from username/password based authentications towards OAuth2 tokens. Both Pipeline and the CI/CD component use OAuth2 tokens issued by GitHub, after a successful GitHub OAtuh2 authentication flow.

The components of Pipeline have been re-worked to support AKS and streamlined for easily incorporate new cloud providers and provide same level of automation and easier enablement of new cloud providers (GKE is coming soon. Please find below the building blocks of this release.
Pipeline PaaS is built on several components we have built in the past several weeks. Part of this release are only the AWS related building blocks but as we can see from the list it still contains quite a lot of moving blocks. They are assambled, built and released together using our own CI/CD workflow using cloud specific automations (like Cloudformation). Once we release for example the Microsoft Azure AKS support the same level of automations (like ARM templates for Azure) will be part of the release.
