This release removes the internal browser which is not required anymore and has created some headaches over time. Let us know if invoking an external browser causes any problems.

This is a minor update to 3.1.1.
It fixes an import bug where some AAX files are not imported properly.
It also fixes a rare audio book splitting issue when the chapter titles include illegal Windows file name characters.

3.1 introduces a number of new features and improvements.

  • Chapter names are captured from audible (when available) and added to the converted book's meta data.
  • Improved meta data for Plex -- trying to make it easy to point plex to your "books" directory and have cover art and full description available.
  • Added new import file types, including zip, directory, admin helper, AA. You can import books from librivox by grabbing the m4b or zip file.
  • Users that want to delete their AAX files to save space can do so and only books that have no converted file will be marked as needing to be downloaded.
  • Improved documentation
  • Improved upgrade experience and license messages
  • Fixed bug with split by chapter.
  • Added ability to retry certain downloads that fail
  • Added new icons to indicate if file is being downloaded or in the download queue.. same for conversion.
  • Improved redrawing of icons.
