In WalkieTalkie and Conversation modes, muting the microphone no longer cancels the results but only stops the listening (so it can be used to force stop listening in noisy environments).

Improvements to the initial download of the AI models:

• Added a file integrity check to the initial download. Now you will be notified if a downloaded file is corrupted and you can restart the download of only that file (previously the corruption was only identified at the end of the download and you had to reset the app and start over).

• Added an option to fix eventually corrupted file models at the start of the app. Now, if the error occurs, instead of just suggesting to reinstall the app, you can click on the "fix" button and re-download only the corrupted files.

• Added the option of sideloading. People who previously had problems downloading due to poor internet connection to GitHub can now do the initial download wherever they want and then push the files into the app. See the dedicated guide for more info.

• Added an eventual low storage space warning in the initial download

Added the ability to use any TTS (thanks to @JingziC).

Now languages ​​not supported by the current TTS will still be usable but without TTS (thanks to @JingziC).

Fixed a bug that made TTS not work on some phones (thanks to @starlightjy).

Improved handling of missing TTS, now if you don't have a supported TTS, only the TTS will not work, the App will still be usable.

The Google API's have been replaced by Meta's NLLB for translation and OpenAi's Whisper for speech recognition. These AI models run directly on your phone, so now the app is totally free and with no configuration required!

A classic text translation mode has been added.

To install the app you need to download just "An_RTranslator_2.0.0.apk", the other files will be downloaded automatically by the app on the first start.
