- Update to TinyMCE 7.0.0
Although TinyMCE 6.8.x is still supported and will be until 2025-06-06, it can make sense to switch to 7.x, as it brings some security hardening for embedded iframes.
Have a look at the new sandbox_iframes_exclusions option (and its default values), if you're using the media plugin.
Note that the deprecated template plugin has been removed in TinyMCE 7.x.
