We have made an important update regarding the way DNS Resources are routed in Firezone. This results in improved connection reliability for DNS Resources in apps like web browsers on certain types of networks.

ACTION REQUIRED: Please upgrade your Gateway(s) to version 1.1.0 or higher at your earliest convenience. For instructions how to do this, refer to the Gateway upgrade documentation.

We will be releasing new Client versions 1.1.0 on or soon after Thursday, June 27, 2024 that will be incompatible with Gateway versions 1.0.x. To avoid service disruption, upgrade your Gateways to version 1.1.0 as soon as possible.
