Initial Release - v0.1.0

First release of the Lunar Phase integration for Home Assistant! This initial version brings a comprehensive set of features to help you track and monitor the phases of the moon.

Features:

  • Moon Phase Sensor: Displays the current phase of the moon with detailed state options including New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent.
  • Moon Age Sensor: Provides the age of the moon in days.
  • Distance to Moon: Offers distance to the moon in kilometers and miles.
  • Illumination Fraction: Indicates the fraction of the moon that is illuminated.
  • Moon Rise and Set Times: Shows accurate moon rise and set times.
  • Next New and Full Moon: Displays the dates for the next new moon and full moon.

Installation:

  • Available for installation via HACS (Home Assistant Community Store) or manual installation.

Configuration:

  • Easy configuration through the Home Assistant UI. Users can set their city for precise lunar data. If the city is not found in the database, additional location details can be provided.
