Maven 2 Support Plugin

Note: This plugin is outdated and no longer supported. Use it only if you are specifically working with Apache Maven 2.x.

This plugin provides support for Apache Maven 2.x in IntelliJ IDEA. However, please be aware that Apache Maven 2.x has reached its end of life in 2009, and most projects nowadays use Maven 3 or higher.

We do not support this plugin anymore.
We do not accept new feature requests for this plugin.
We do not fix any bugs.

You can download the Maven 2 Support plugin from the JetBrains Plugin Repository.

Please note that it is recommended to migrate your projects to Apache Maven 3.x or higher for better compatibility and access to the latest features and improvements.

Installation

To install the Maven 2 Support plugin in IntelliJ IDEA, follow these steps:

Open IntelliJ IDEA.
Navigate to File > Settings (or Preferences on macOS) > Plugins.
Click on the Marketplace tab.
Search for "Maven 2 Support" in the search bar.
Click on the plugin and then click the Install button.
Restart IntelliJ IDEA to complete the installation.

Usage

Once the plugin is installed, you can configure your Maven 2.x projects in IntelliJ IDEA using the standard Maven project settings. However, please keep in mind that the plugin may not support all the features and functionality provided by newer versions of Maven.

Support and Issues

As mentioned earlier, this plugin is no longer supported. We encourage you to consider migrating to a newer version of Maven. If you encounter critical issues with the plugin, you may find community support on the JetBrains Plugin Repository page
