Installation

npm i -D rpl/webpack-webext-plugin

In webpack.config.js

const WebpackWebExt = require('webpack-webext-plugin');

let config = {
    // <...>

    plugins: [
      new WebpackWebExt({
        runOnce: false,
        argv: ["lint", "-s", "extension/"],
      }),

      new WebpackWebExt({
        runOnce: true,
