Student Book Management System

A comprehensive web application built with Laravel and Jetstream, designed for managing book borrowing and returning for students.

Students Module

• Registration: Students can register to the website.
• Book Catalog: Students can view all available books and their details.
• Borrowing: Students can borrow books.
• Dashboard: Upon login, students can access their personal dashboard to:
  • View previously borrowed books.
  • Return borrowed books to the shelf.
• Profile Management: Students can update their own profile.
• Book Tracking: Students can view details of borrowed books and the return date-time.

Installation

Prerequisites

• PHP 8.0 or higher
• Composer
• MySQL or other supported database
• Node.js and npm (for asset compilation)

Setup Instructions

1. Clone the Repository

   git clone https://github.com/yourusername/your-repo-name.git
   cd your-repo-name
   
   

2. Install Dependencies

   composer install
   npm install
   
   

3. Configure Environment

   cp .env.example .env
   php artisan key:generate
   php artisan migrate --seed
   npm run dev
   php artisan serve
   
   
   

Usage

• Register: Navigate to the registration page and create an account.
• Login: Access the login page to enter your credentials and access the student dashboard.
• Explore: View books, borrow them, and manage your profile through the dashboard.
