Hello,I am Priyankar Pal, undergraduate computer science and engineering student from India. I develop robust back-end applications using Nest.js, Express.js, TypeScript, MongoDB/PostgreSQL, Redis. Also, an open source contributor & projects maintainer at projectshut & reactplay.io. sometimes I share technical blogs on hashnode.

I am currently exploring operating systems, and system designs, focusing on continuous learning and growth.

when I was in high school, developed my first cross-platform app using Flutter & published it to Play Store. though the apps are simple, I learned new things that have inspired me a lot to work in tech.

after joining the university I developed a simple web page for a local client(an e-rickshaws store) & earned a few bucks in my freshman year. I love to paricipate in hackathons(offline/online) so that year I participated first in-person hackathon (MLH powered) with my teammates & we built a full stack project although we didn‘t win, we learned a lot from that hackathon.

• Actively maintain and contribute to the ReactPlay open-source project in Reactjs, Javascript including
  adding new features, fixing bugs
• Assign and review issues/pull requests to ensure code quality and project integrity.
• Collaborate with fellow contributors to enhance the project’s functionality and performance.

Project Admin

girlscript summer of code (may. 2023 - aug. 2023)

• Assigning, and reviewing issues/PRs - Collaborating with others
• Reviewed more than 200+ issues and merged around 100+ PRs
• Helped new contributors to get started with open-source contributions
• Migrate the project from Reactjs to Nextjs TypeScript

  wide carbon-neutral platform tailored for avid travellers.

Achievements

• Actively write blog posts on Hashnode viewed by over 10K+ users
• Took a session at GDSC SBJIT (Oct. 2023 ) about how to get started with open source and contributing
  to open source projects in hacktoberfest 2023 live example
• Won a Technical Writing challenge in February 2023, hosted by the CoCode community and collaborated with
