Go to the project directory
cd Gmail-clone-app-nex-js
Install dependencies
npm install
Start the server
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
To run this project, you will need to create a new project on firebase, setup Firebase Realtime Database and add the following environment variables to your next.config.js
REACT_APP_FIREBASE_API_KEY
REACT_APP_AUTH_DOMAIN
REACT_APP_STORAGE_BUCKET
REACT_APP_PROJECT_ID
REACT_APP_MESSAIN_SENDER_ID
REACT_APP_APPID
Project is now complete in (React js + Next js) so my next step I would love to converted to (React + TypeScript + Next.js + Node.js + Express + MongoDB)
Build By Saddam Arbaa Project inspired by [Gmail] https://mail.google.com/
This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js
.
The pages/api
directory is mapped to /api/*
. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
