Genesis Simple Sidebars Exporter

WordPress plugin that adds support for exporting settings saved from Genesis Simple Sidebars plugin, via the exporter within the Genesis Framework.

Installation

Upload

  1. Download the latest tagged archive (choose the "zip" option).
  2. Go to the Plugins -> Add New screen and click the Upload tab.
  3. Upload the zipped archive directly.
  4. Go to the Plugins screen and click Activate.

Manual

  1. Download the latest tagged archive (choose the "zip" option).
  2. Unzip the archive.
  3. Copy the folder to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  4. Go to the Plugins screen and click Activate.

Git

Using git, browse to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory and clone this repository:

git clone [email protected]:GaryJones/genesis-simple-sidebars-exporter.git

Then go to your Plugins screen and click Activate.

Usage

  1. With sidebars already created via Genesis > Simple Sidebars, navigate to Genesis Import/Export.
  2. Ensure the relevant Simple Sidebars checkbox is selected and click the Download Export File button.
  3. Head to the new site, and import the settings file via the corresponding Import/Export page.

Note that this plugin does not need to be installed on the new site for the import to succeed.
