This release includes another round of edits ahead of the 2024 National Institute of Computer-Assisted Reporting conference in Baltimore.

• @Kat-Alo added a new data cleaning wrinkle to the Merge chapter
• @Kat-Alo was added to the the teacher list in the about page
• A number of other small updates and corrections to the copy

This release includes an expansion of the material ahead of the 2024 conference of the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting. The big items are:

• A new chapter on concatenation by @petrinkae
• Revisions to the Altair chapter by @asuozzo
• The introduction of basic string cleaning methods
• The new palewire theme for Sphinx
• Updated JupyterLab Desktop screenshots
• Redirects from the old readthedocs.io site to the palewi.re domain
• A smattering of other fixes and edits

A rewrite of the class that substitutes out the campaign finance dataset for an investigative analysis of helicopter accident rates.

The version of this class taught as of January, 2023. It focuses o a data-driven investigation of money in California politics using ballot measures from the 2016 election.
