Overview

The Image Generator is a web application that allows users to create images based on text descriptions using AI. Users can generate images, share them with the community, download them, and explore a gallery of existing images. Additionally, users can enjoy the "Surprise Me" feature, which generates a random image.

Local Setup

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v14.x or later)
• npm (v6.x or later) or yarn (v1.x or later)
• MongoDB (v4.x or later)

Client Setup

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/sujal-goswami/Own-AI.git
   cd Own-AI
   

2. Navigate to the client directory:

   cd client
   

3. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   # or
   yarn install
   

4. Start the development server:

   npm run dev
   # or
   yarn dev
   

Server Setup

1. Navigate to the server directory:

   cd server
   

2. Copy the .env.sample file to .env and fill in the required environment variables:

   cp .env.sample .env
   

3. Install the dependencies:

   npm install
   # or
   yarn install
   

4. Start the development server:

   npm run dev
   # or
   yarn dev
