Installation

To set up the project locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/ShuklaAbhishek99/resume-alchemy
    cd resume-alchemy
    
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
    
  3. Set up environment variables:

    • Create a .env file in the root directory and add the necessary environment variables as outlined in the Environment Variables section.
  4. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
    

Database Design

The project uses Appwrite for backend services, including user authentication and data storage. Below is an overview of the database collections used in the project:

Collection Name Description Fields
users Stores user information and preferences. id, name, username, email, etc.
resumes Stores resume details including personal information and sections. id, user_id, personal_details, summary, experience, skills, etc.

Usage

After installation, you can use the following commands to interact with the project:

  • Start the server:

    npm run dev
    
  • Build for production:

    npm run build
    
  • Preview the build:

    npm run preview
