Windows itself along with other applications can order Windows Update to start back up, by using "Lock Off" wUD will immediately terminate any reattempt Windows Update makes to enable itself while you're not looking and alert you with an audio alert when Windows Update tries to enable itself behind your back. It will be detected and terminated by wUD.
