- I'm teaching myself rust; this is a very basic example with Nickel and Diesel utilizing Postgres
Pre-requisites
- Install Rust
- Rustup to nightly build required
- curl -s https://static.rust-lang.org/rustup.sh | sh -s -- --channel=nightly
- rustup update
- rustup install nightly
- rustup run nightly rustc --version
- rustup default nightly
- cargo update
- Postgres
- CREATE EXTENSION IF NOT EXISTS "uuid-ossp";
- cargo install diesel_cli
- diesel setup --database-url='postgres://localhost/postgres'
- DATABASE_URL='postgres://localhost/postgres' diesel migration redo
